Whoever you are or wherever you are from, you are welcome at St. Paul-Reformation; there is a place at God's table for you! We embody many differences and come from diverse backgrounds, but together we gather around the core conviction that our home is in God and that we are placed in this world to make it a better place. Through prayer, service, and witness, we seek to make the love of God in Jesus Christ known to our community, our city, and our world. Together, we celebrate the Good News of God and discern how Jesus' story shapes the stories, callings, and mission of our own time.
For much of it's history, St. Paul-Reformation has led the way in both the city of St. Paul and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America to welcome all. As America's first "Reconciling in Christ" Congregation, St. Paul-Reformation has intentionally worked to welcome people of diverse backgrounds, races, sexual orientations, and abilities. That work is not over, and we continue to to call the Church and the world to the faithfulness of the welcome given by God in Holy Baptism. For much of the last forty years, St. Paul-Reformation has worked closely with Reconciling Works to make safe spaces for all, regardless of sexual orrientation.
