Worship Service Volunteers
Looking for an opportunity to get acquainted with your fellow worshipers and to enjoy a great way to get involved in the Sunday morning ministry? Worship services at St Paul Reformation Lutheran Church involve many volunteers - ushers, greeters, scripture readers, musicians, assisting ministers, servers of refreshments.
Caring Community
Would you like an opportunity to let someone know you care by giving of your time, compassion, listening, sharing stories, and laughter? Visitors provide company and care to homebound members of our church community who are confined to their homes or in assisted living, hospice care, or long term care facilities. Volunteers also fulfill other community needs such as driving members to church and medical appointments.
Chancel Stewards
Chancel Stewards are caretakers of the church sanctuary and chancel keeping them prepared for community worship. They have responsibility for altar linens, paraments, banners, altar flowers, baptismal font, candles, and albs. They also order supplies for Holy Communion and Baptism.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Compassion and the love of knitting and crocheting have been combined into a prayerful ministry and spiritual practice which reaches out to those in need of comfort and solace, as well as in celebration and joy. Many blessings are prayed into every shawl. Our Prayer Shawl Ministry also offers free lessons in knitting or crocheting.
Welcoming Committee
ALL ARE WELCOME HERE! The Welcoming Committee assists St Paul-Reformation in becoming more visible to people who are not active members; support the faith development of potential members; and increase the active membership of the congregation. Projects include outreach, church website, church directory and new member sponsors. Take part in helping SPR be an inclusive and truly welcoming community.
Office Support
Compile and mail the monthly newsletter, collate bulletins, assist with general office tasks - the more the merrier! Get your name on the office volunteer list.
