RIC is a program of Lutherans Concerned/North America (LC/NA). Founded in 1984, the RIC program of LC/NA recognizes Lutheran communities that affirm the welcome of God to all persons regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. It supports congregations in study and discernment leading to the adoption of a public statement of welcome and affirmation and identifies these congregations on its RIC roster, which now exceeds 400 settings, including congregations, synods and organizations.
St. Paul-Reformation Lutheran Church is proud to have been the very first RIC congregation.
